Is Ampli really free?
Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and needs no card: 2 connected channels, 30 published posts a month (each channel a post goes to counts as one), 20 one-time AI credits, posting from your AI agent, viral templates and the editor, and 1 API key.
What’s the difference between the paid plans?
Every paid plan includes unlimited published posts, unlimited posts from your AI agent, the Advanced Editor and API + MCP access. They differ in channels, projects and credits: Pro is $25 a month for 20 channels, 5 projects and 400 credits, Premium is $49 for 40 channels, 10 projects, 1,000 credits and priority support, and Agency is $80 for 100 channels, unlimited projects and 1,500 credits, plus $1 a month for each channel beyond 100. Pro and Premium start with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Posts with links to X are capped at 90, 150 and 300 a month on those plans.
What are AI credits and what do they cover?
Credits pay for generating posts in the Ampli app: a Pinterest pin costs 1 credit, a reel 2 and a slideshow 4. Free includes 20 to start; Pro, Premium and Agency get a fresh allowance every month. Posts your AI agent writes use no credits, and scheduling and publishing are never metered.
Do unused credits roll over?
On a paid plan, no: your balance resets to the plan’s full allowance every month, so use them freely. The Free plan’s 20 credits are one-time and don’t renew.
What happens when I reach a Free limit?
Free includes 30 published posts a month, and each channel a post goes to counts as one, so a post to 2 channels uses 2. After that, new posts can wait as drafts until the 1st, or you can upgrade for unlimited posts. To connect a third channel, upgrade to Pro or above. Posts to X with a link also need a paid plan.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade whenever you need more channels or credits, or move down a plan from Settings. If you move to a plan with fewer channels, disconnect the extras to keep publishing.
Which platforms can I publish to?
TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, YouTube, and X (Twitter). Connect your accounts once and schedule one batch across all of them.
Can I post from Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI agents?
Yes, on every plan, including Free. Ampli’s MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible agent generate, upload, and schedule posts for you. Setup takes about two minutes at useampli.com/mcp.
Can I use my own photos, videos, and copy?
Absolutely. Upload your own media and captions and schedule them as-is, or drop your content into viral templates and let Ampli handle the design. The scheduler treats your uploads exactly like generated posts.
Will anything publish without my approval?
No. You review everything before it goes out, and you stay in control after: send TikToks to drafts, test Instagram trial reels on non-followers first, and pull any queued post back before it fires.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from Settings in one click. You keep your plan until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then move to Free with your posts and content intact.
